Our client has an immediate need for a Network Administrator to work on administering, overseeing and maintaining the implementation, organization and security of network design on a three month contract-to-permanent basis. As a Network Administrator, you will also be responsible for some Linux and UNIX administration and PC support on an as needed basis.

Experience: To be considered for this position, the incumbent must possess the following:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience of 3 to 5 years administering local and wide area networks which encompass the following technologies:
Windows 2003 Servers, Active Directory, DFS, WSUS, & related technologies
VMWare ESX Server
Disaster recovery technologies (ArcServe preferred)
Groupwise 7/Novell eDirectory administration
Cisco router configuration and maintenance
Sonic Wall Administration (including VPN technologies)
Server Class hardware maintenance
Switch hardware configuration and maintenance
Wi-Fi Technologies (Cisco access point; PEAP w/ TKIP security)
Web server administration (IIS and Apache, Tomcat)
Software license management
Leasing management
