Position Description:
Principal Responsibilities:
Managing the cross-matrixed development team both on-shore and off-shore, build internal knowledge of the application and the team. Coordinating project assignments and priorities, managing project plans.
Provide functional leadership for the team.
Defining strategy for the application and interaction with downstream
Working with a very wide range of sales, operations and technology users to gather and prioritize requirements
Working with the users to define priorities, gather requirements, define and implement the plans
Supporting all phases of project lifecycle; i.e. analysis, design, development, testing, installation and training.
Coordination and tracking of key development activities, status and issues
Experience: 8 to 12 years of relevant experience Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage teams Strong interpersonal and communications skills - work closely with business users and technologists. Ability to effectively communicate across a broad audience. Prior hands-on technical experience in application development using Java, UI interfaces and database architecture Highly motivated, organized, strong analytical/problem solving skills, attention to detail and excellent follow-through Proficient in putting together presentation material in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project
