Our client has an immediate need for a Web Developer, whose duties will include definition, design, delivery and support of standards based solutions connecting disparate systems and processes. As a Web Developer, you will also train users and solve problems to satisfy user requirements of new and existing applications. Additional responsibilities include:
Supporting existing and contributing to the evolving B2B applications using web services, CXML, SSL, Oracle and Linux technologies.
Participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Creating and maintaining appropriate software/process documentation including technical documentation describing technology solution API details and implementation processes.
Supporting and employing established Change Control procedures as a means of managing application modifications and ensuring compliance with software licensing programs.

Experience: To be considered for this role, the incumbent must possess the following:
Demonstrated competency with technologies specific to the GST application architecture – namely, Java/J2EE, XML, XSLT, AJAX, CVS, enterprise relational databases and fundamental networking technologies.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with technical, functional and business partner team members.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field
4+ years experience providing application design and development services using Java, J2EE, XML technologies
4+ years experience with the Unix/Linux operating system in support of application development projects
2+ years experience supporting B2B web services applications
Experience providing front-line customer support and excellent communication skills (listening, speaking presentation)
XSLT, AJAX, Tomcat, Oracle experience a plus.
