Title: Business Analyst
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ownership of the sales forecast process; FTS maintenance, coordination of meetings to discuss progress and management of forecast updates
• Preparation, reconciliation and analysis of Daily Sales reports provided to Senior Management
• Interface with parent company on preparation, ensure accuracy and act as the primary contact for company inquiries
• Support Finance Manager on the financial modeling and board paper preparation for new distributed label and artist deals
• Responsible for forecasting & planning systems. Ensure consistency and thoroughness of data from all supporting systems into financial models and databases
• Assistance in accurate and timely forecasting of the P&L with focus on sales and EBITDA
• Monthly submission of business results (actual and forecasts) using the Hyperion financial reporting system
• Key role in the annual budget process – compilation, review and submission
• Ad hoc analysis support and projects
REQUIREMENTS
• Undergraduate degree in finance/business preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years relevant work experience
• Excellent analytical and financial skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and macro
• Demonstrated ability to work within fixed timeframes and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to perform effectively in a fast paced, demanding environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to interact and work with personnel from all operational areas and levels of the company as well as third parties.
