A leader in Contextual Advertising in Manhattan, NY is seeking individuals who are equally adept and interested in Flash Design and Flash Development. This individual will possess creative vision in web design and function as the “left hand” Marketing Department and assist in creation and development for all online communication. Projects and responsibilities will include but are not limited to: flash banners, microsites, jump pages and websites. We are looking for a team player with great motion design skills who can build solid files.
Responsibilities
· Build customized Flash video players.
· Build Flash players for rending advertising content.
· Re-skin and extend VideoEgg Flash components.
· Build custom, modular components for reuse in multiple applications.
· Design, implement and document reference players for partners.
· Participate in discussions with team on product enhancements and solutions.

Experience: Requirements
· In-depth knowledge of Macromedia Flash Version 8, ActionScript 2.0 and DHTML
· Ability to develop clean, well-documented, object-oriented Flash applications
· Experience with vector and bitmap applications like Illustrator and Photoshop
· Experience with client-side communication with backend services
· Experience with Flash Video, Macromedia Flex & Flash Comm a plus
· Practitioner of professional software development processes, including specification definition, task estimation, test plan development, and documentation
· Bachelor's degree in art/design (BFA), or equivalent design experience
· 3+ years of experience using Flash and ActionScript
· Strong portfolio of applications showing large-scale/enterprise usage of Flash and significant code re-use
· Excellent problem solving and communications skills
· Knowledge of Server interactions (socket, remoting, FCS/FMS)
· Knowledge of Flash outside the browser (Flash Lite, embedded Flash, projectors)
· Flash/JavaScript interactions
