BASIC FUNCTION:
As part of M&T's Consumer Lending Division the MIS Analyst IV will provide database support (SQL Server) for various applications used within Consumer Lending and Lending Services Divisions.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Provide database support (SQL Server) for various applications used within Consumer Lending and Lending Services Divisions.
Provide complex reporting (Crystal Reports) for clients within various divisions in the Bank.
Create and maintain DTS (Data Transformation Services) packages used within the Division.
Provide data analysis, troubleshooting and manipulation for various projects.
Design and support data extracts from mainframe applications to SQL Server.
Train lower level MIS Analysts and coach clients in use of data, tools and reporting.
Work with client base to ascertain future data needs and advise on the effective use of data with the Division.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
SQL Server Database Administration
SQL Server DTS
Crystal Reports
Effective verbal and written communication skills
3 years experience in Banking
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
3 years experience in reporting/data analysis
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
SAS
JCL
Familiarity with application development tools - .Net, Visual Studio
Experience in Consumer Lending
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS
