My client, a prominent Web Services company in the downtown Manhattan area, has an immediate need for a Windows Systems Administrator on a long term consulting basis. The Windows Systems Administrator will work in a dynamic team environment that consists of Windows 2003 server, Exchange server, Active Directory and MS-SQL server. The company's environment consists of several hundred servers and several thousand workstations on multiple-domain Windows 2003 forests. The Windows System Administrator will take an active role in server side troubleshooting and configuration. In addition the Windows System Administrator will also do server build outs, system backups and other administrative duties. The ideal candidate should posses a high level of analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills:

Experience: Skill sets required:<br>
•2+ years of Windows NT/2000/2003 server administration<br>
•Experience with Exchange 2003 server, and migration work from 5.5 to 2003<br>
•Active Directory experience is a plus<br>
•DNS server builds<br>
•DHCP, TCP/IP<br>
•XP Professional operating systems (as well as Win 2000)<br>
•Exposure to SQL Server, installation and basic administration is a plus but not required<br>
•Knowledge of Blackberry Enterprise Server a plus<br>
•Functional use of MS office including Visio, technical/enterprise highly preferred<br><br>
Certifications a plus but not required:<br>
•MCP<br>
•MCSE<br><br>
