Experience: 5 + years of experience in IT department, working in Financial environment, preferably with Trade Processing and operations business support. The candidate should have a knowledge of the equities and fixed income trade life cycle. Participation in major firm wide projects and supporting existing financial applications. Developing and supporting new software applications on iSeries platform (AS400). Development of system testing procedures, scripts and supporting documentation. Utilizes various system programming technologies to develop requirements and documents. Provide Client Server support utilizing languages such as RPG, CL, SQL, Java Perl, HTML and Javascript and tools such as Actuate
Responsible as lead IT support for Asset Servicing application. Responsible for shared IT-Support for other areas in Back Office Trade Processing, such as Management Information Systems (MIS), and Purchase and Sales Divisions. Involved in major firm wide projects and supporting existing applications. Develops background applications for overnight batch, as well as online applications for daytime processing. Develops system testing procedures, programming and documentation. Chiefly utilizes Report Program Generator ('RPG'), RPG Control Language (CL) and system programming technologies to develop requirements and documents.
