We currently have a need for 3 Senior Project Managers in Buffalo, NY. Candidates must meet the following
criteria for consideration:
Banking
Project size at least 2 million dollars
Project length at least 12 months
Team size must be 50+
Strength in projects that have a mix of product implementation, complex development and offshore

- Manage/oversee execution of project plans for any scope; ensure adherence to all standards and procedures, including
documentation requirements. Work to procure resources for assignments.
- Perform/oversee application development and testing efforts; translate requirements to assist staff in preparing detailed specs for
system enhancements. Recommend designs based on business requirements. Identify issues/concerns.
- Act as a client liaison to review priorities/manage overall client queue.
- Maintain efficient operation/effectiveness of supported applications. Recommend new technology/policies/processes. Lead
technical evaluations of vendor software.
- Complete status reports; present projects/status/activities to Sr. management.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the business environment/needs within area of responsibility. Able to understand various
impacts of a project or problem.
Base Qualifications - Minimum of 2-4 years college with at least 10 years exp. in project related work/systems analysis/systems development
environment, or equivalent combination. Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior management experience preferred
- Requires complete understanding of the SDLC
- Experience w/the skills/application(s)/functions of technology area being led
Technical Skills - Proficient in project management/word processing/spreadsheet applications; very good PM skills
- Good understanding of the Bank's application framework
Soft Skills - Excellent communication skills; effectively presents to target audience
- Excellent analytical/organization/time/quality management skills; strong judgment; able to work effectively w/all org. clients
- Detail oriented
