Under general direction of manager, perform Web,Application Server systems administration and management tasks including: Web, Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat server installations and configuration, logical and physical systems design, performance tuning, troubleshooting and problem analysis. Collaborate with other leads, developers and architects to create implementation designs, reviews implementation designs of other team members and architects. Perform as team lead over other Systems Administrators: delegate work responsibilities,provide technical and professional guidance to more junior team members, develop technical action plans and project schedules for deployment. Maintain and improve the performance of enterprise application systems in both the transactional and inquiry only environment. Insure compliance with strategic architecture.Minimum 8-10 years experience on multiple hardware platforms and operating systems (UNIX, LINUX, Windows)?UNIX and Oracle databases is preferred. Previous experience in Open Systems environment is essential. Expert knowledge of UNIX operating environments and client server technology (DBMS, application server, etc), networking concepts; able to provide tech assistance, design and implement improved methods and procedures for troubleshooting and researching problems. Expert skill level in at least one critical or specialized technology. Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. Possess excellent analytical and decision
making skills. Possess leadership skills and competency to manage a technical workgroup by delegating responsibilities appropriately.
