Project Administrator with Banking Experience
Experience: Project Administrator
Candidate will assist Project Managers with:
1] Using a Project Management Software tool to build project schedules.
2] Effectively track project deliverables, activities and costs through reporting processes.
3] Reporting project progress and status information to Management.
Candidate will perform these activities under the direction of a project manager.
Candidate must be able to perform the following tasks:
- Input tasks details (e.g., tasks names, resources, estimates, dependencies, etc. into the Project Management software tool.
- Maintain project schedule in project management software tool
- Track project deliverable status and completion per project management methodology
- Maintain project file documentation in centralized online document repository
- Facilitate technology project estimating process
- Maintain issues and risks lists
- Set up and attend project meetings (for assigned projects), gather pertinent meeting information, capture action items, decisions,
Issues and risks.
- Prepare and publish meeting minutes
- Effectively track project activities and cost through reporting processes
- Collect and report on project metrics
- Report project progress and status information to IT Management.
- Use configuration management tools

Other Potential Duties:
Develop and maintain change control requests and log
Additionally, the project administrator may be requested to take on some operational responsibilities within the Project Services Group
Candidates should be able to, if needed, fill in the role of IT Lead Project Manager on an interim basis
Candidates should be able to run internal process improvement projects.

Base Qualifications
Minimum of two year's experience in project management.
Working knowledge of concepts used in project mgt software packages; inherent analytical, problem-solving capabilities.
Bachelors degree or above
At least 5 years experience in a related technology I systems analysis or operational support environment.

Desired/Ideal:
CMM or CMMI knowledge
PM! Knowledge
PMP Certified
Banking experience
Previous Project Administrator experience

Technical Skills
MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio. Email system functions (i.e. scheduling meetings, calendars)
Artemis Project View I Track View
Project Management Software Skills (i.e. MS Project)
Good working knowledge of project mgmt and system development life cycle concepts and methodologies
Project Management Software Skills (e.g., MS Project);
