The Functional Analyst provides support to the Operations Manager of the EZPass NY contract. He or she will primarily be responsible for analyzing customer service and financial operations to ensure delivery of services, policy adherence and customer and client satisfaction. Additionally, the Functional Analyst will review data, prepare reports, make recommendations and coordinate with software development staff. Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in a technical or financial customer service environment. Demonstrated strong analytical and verbal/written communication skills are essential.

Analyzes, plans and implements process improvement needs.

Produces new process improvement techniques and services.

Develops metrics that provide data for process management and indicators for future improvement opportunities.

Measures performance against process requirements, aligning improvement projects to close performance shortfalls.

Identifies and implements cost savings initiatives.

Acts as a liaison between operations, technical support and the clients in the derivation of specifications for new products, services and/or system’s functionality.

Education and Typical Years of Experience:

Requirements

Must be ACS employee for more than 2 years. (Internal only)

4 or greater on 2008 performance appraisal. (Internal only)

BS Degree, working towards degree or equivalent experience

3 years of experience in a technical or financial customer service environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook

Strong analytical and verbal/written communication skills
