Your responsibilities will include working with technology teams to architect, design and develop a scanning solution leveraging Kofax Capture. You will participate in all phases of the imaging application development lifecycle including:
*Administration, researching, evaluating and staying current on emerging product enhancements, techniques and technologies.
*Interfacing with the engineers that own the host and network.
*Ongoing platform enhancements and underlying product upgrades and will develop, build, maintain and test the BCP for the plant. Additionally, you will own the development and support of the platform level integrations, e.g. entitlements, SOA, authentication, standard facilities and perform level 3 support for application issues and manage the vendor's SMEs during problem resolutions and deliver the fixes to production.
*Producing and maintaining the reference architecture and example applications for validation and performance testing
*Owning performance, workload, and capacity management.
*Communicating effectively with Development Leads, internal managers, business, project managers to review project documentation and determine testing needs - participating in internal design reviews - contributing to production readiness/hand-off review before go-live
*Acting as the expert technical resource to the team, to management and to peers.
? At least five years experience with Kofax development, installation, and configuration
? At least 5 years of Kofax experience with the following:
o Installation, Configuration and Administration of KoFax and KTM (KoFax transformation module)
o Integration of KoFax with ECM products such as Documentum
o Experience with configuration of Multifunction devices
? Expected to know all elements of Kofax to some level; capture, release scripts, recognition services, DES, auto import, etc.
? At least 3 - 5 years experience developing in Java/J2EE ? certifications in Java a plus
? Extensive experience with Kofax Capture customizations such as batch class validation scripts
? Knowledge of MQ transmission as it relates to the sending Kofax images
? Knowledge of SOA and Web Services
? The following skills/experience would be a plus:
o WebSphere (WAS/WPS).
o ASP .Net Framework and/or Visual basic
o Any Java IDE tool like Eclipse
o Source control tools such as Encore
? The following certifications are a plus:
o JAVA
o Documentum
o Kofax
