The IT Manager/Network Admin will be responsible for installing,supporting and maintaining servers & other computer & telephone systmes. Detailed planning for and response to service outages and other problems w/effective resolutions in a timely manner is critically important. The network administrator will work closely with the VP of Technology,3rd party Vendors & end-users to provide support for the IT infrastructure.
Experience: Bachelors degree or equivalent is required. MCSE certification preferred. Minimum 5 years hands on network admin experience. Knowledge of telephone systems (Shoretel Shorewar Director,Call Manager,ShoreGear switches). Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards including Cisco routers, Dell switches, Sonicwall firewalls. Strong experience and knowledge of Microcsoft Operation Systems, applications and services (Server, Workstation, SQL, Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, WINS, etc.) Strong experience with SQL Query writing, SQL Server Management Studio,SQL Server Maintenance Plans, database restores. Experience with Prophet21 (Activant P21) ERP Software is a big plus. Sample systems, services and applications to be supported: MS Windows 2000 and 2003 Server, MS Windows XP Pro, MS Active Directory (DNS, group policy, logon scripts, etc).
