The consultant will perform the following activities: . Participate in the deployment of Microsoft Active directory to the Central Office location. . Participate in the deployment of Microsoft Active directory to all 27 facility locations throughout NY State. . Interface with technical staff at the Central Office location and each facility to coordinate the deployment of Microsoft Active Directory. . Consultants will be expected to travel to visit and perform their work at each of the facilities. The home base for the consultants will be at the Central Office in Albany where they may work together. However, they will be expected to travel independently and simultaneously to visit facilities throughout the state (most likely one consultant to a downstate facility and the other to an upstate facility). It is anticipated that the duration of each facility assignment will be 3 - 15 working days depending on size and complexity. Experience: Mandatory Requirements ? Proficient with Windows permissions including: NTFS permissions Registry permissions ? Proficient with Windows User Profiles ? Proficient with configuration/installation of the Novell Client for Windows ? Proficient in troubleshooting techniques including: Login problems Permissions problems Novell Client problems Shared printer problems Peer to peer shares/connection problems ? Proficient with NDPS printing and Novell iPrint ? Proficient in VB Scripting ? Proficient in working with workgroups including peer-to-peer applications/shares ? Excellent documentation methods for any problems/solutions found as project progresses. ? Excellent oral and written communication skills Desirable Experience/Skills ? Demonstrated experience with Health Related organizations ? Experience with large government organization ? Project Management skills ? Experience with HIPAA regulations ?
