JOB SUMMARY: The Licensing Associate is focused on commercialization of intellectual property resulting from research at Rensselaer that is primarily in the physical sciences. Investigates and identifies commercialization opportunities for inventions and technologies submitted to OTC, actively markets to potential licensees, and develops appropriate licensing agreements. QUALIFICATIONS: -Bachelor degree in a field of engineering or science covering physical sciences, and an MBA is highly desirable. -3-5 years experience in business development and technology licensing.
