*Candidates must respond with the Tekmark job number, 55591 in the subject line* Testing Specialist - PeopleSoft Benefits Individual will serve as a lead applications software tester for the application - an implementation of PeopleSoft 8.x Benefits. The individual must be very detailed oriented and intimately familiar with PeopleSoft Benefits Application and Testing processes. By executing tests and reviewing the test results, the tester must determine the compliance of the software with its design and intent. When defects are found, the tester must record the problem and supply required documentation. As defects are fixed, the tester must re-execute the script to ascertain that the problem is gone and that no new problems have arisen. The candidate will be heavily involved with the System and User Acceptance testing phases and will have the following skills: Ability to structure and write a test plan covering breadth and depth of testing requirements - organizing the plan to allow for a clear assignment of work to team Strong working knowledge of software development life cycle and be familiar with concepts of system, user acceptance and regression and smoke testing. Strong work ethic and problem solving ability, excellent analytical and written communication skills Able to write test scripts, execute tests and analyze test results. Ability to lead and report on the collective results of a small to mid-size team of testers Ability to perform data analysis using PeopleTools (e.g., SQR) The candidate will have the following experience: Minimum of 3 yrs experience in a QA role with PeopleSoft HR packages At least 5 yrs testing experience, developing test strategies and plans, interfacing with users, preparing and executing on testing strategy, reporting on testing metrics Experience using automated testing and performance test tools - preferably, using Mercury test automation tools (TestDirector, WinRunner, LoadRunner) Candidate will be a PeopleSoft Certified Developer (preferred, but not required) At Tekmark, we know that there are no limits to where imagination and technology can go.
