At present, we have an excellent opportunity for an Enterprise Architect with a focus on the Oracle E-Business Suite of applications in our client Long Island, NY location.
This position requires experience with the Oracle E-Business Suite. Your responsibilities will include establishing functional and technical direction as well as positioning the product to be leveraged to the highest degree possible. It will also require a mature understanding of strategies and risks associated with migrating multiple legacy systems to a consolidated platform. Critical success factors include the ability to learn our technical environment, understand the challenges that face our business units and architecting a global E-Business suite environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Establishing technical designs in compliance with IT enterprise standards for Oracle E-Business Suite, architecture, solution frameworks, release management, and issue escalation
Track and communicate product capabilities, future releases, enhanced functionality, patches, conferences and related events to appropriate stakeholders
Developing strategies to migrate applications to the common platform
Educating applications development and infrastructure groups on the architectural aspects and implications of the Oracle Software Suite
Drive the process of cultural and technical change as required to achieve goals
Working with other senior architects to ensure E-Business Suite strategies fit within the larger Enterprise Architecture
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience with the Oracle E-Business Suite (Supply Chain Management)
Strong understanding of Oracles technology stack and strategic direction
Significant experience designing and architecting E-Business Suite Solutions
Proven leader with strong communication, presentation, influencing and reasoning skills
Bachelor of Science - Computing Science, Mathematics or other relevant IT/Engineering degree

Evaluates options efficiently and provides considered conclusions and direction
Capable of indirectly managing groups of individuals towards common solutions
Demonstrates a strategic focus ability to turn ideas / objectives into tangible deliverables and tasks
