The EHS Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive risk management program promoting regulatory compliance. Key to this position is ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including but not limited to occupational safety and health, waste management, environmental regulatory compliance, workers compensation, chemical control, industrial hygiene, fire safety and transportation. -Critical to this position is a person who can work independently and is able to juggle several tasks simultaneously. Additionally, this position requires a high level of interaction with all functions throughout the organization, including both verbal and written communication.
