The candidate will function as a consultant within the Asset Master build team. He/she will be engaged in design & development work (includes Java/JSP/Sybase/egate) and third level production support as well. Must be a team player and good at juggling tasks to cope with shifting business priorities. Candidate must have a professional attitude and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Must be amenable to working under changing priorities / pressure.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have: - 7+ yrs total experience - brokerage/banking background - must have done data analysis - strong understanding of J2EE architecture - STRONG unix / java / database development experience - must be current / hands on - STRONG sql/stored proc development in Sybase - must be current / hands on - Worked on messaging infrastructure like egate or JMS - version control software exposure - good communication skills - strong tech. trouble shooting skills - supported global apps nice to have -preferably dealt with security master apps / market data - pricing -FI domain knowledge -Experience with Trading / compliance / portfolio management applications.
