I.T. Security Analyst/Officer in New York, NY

Fortune 1000 Company located in NYC is seeking to add onto staff a "right-hand" to the CISO. This officer-level position, senior Security Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the development of all I.T. related security policies and procedures; will assist with enterprise wide rollouts of new security initiatives; will enforce department and division wide compliance for security and oversee audit functionality; and they will be responsible for delivering presentations and documentation to senior management and Board level members. This "Big Picture" person will need to be able to maintain a strong focus on emerging security threats, security tools, security enhancing infrastructure systems and act as an advocate, ensuring "best possible" security for enterprise wide I.T. systems throughout the company. Prior experience with compliance and audit functionality as well as prior hands on security systems analysis and engineering experience is ideal. This is a highly visible position and the ideal candidate must be able to interact with Division directors, security contractors, Board members and internal staff with equal aplomb.
