We are looking for a limited number of management consultants to join our Business Advisory Services Practice in our midtown and downtown New York office(s). Successful candidates should have 5-15 years of relevant IT or management consulting and business experience, as well as some combination of the following:

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with or in the financial services industry, including knowledge of sales, trading, research, operations and finance business processes.
  • Background in process improvement and information technology in private banking a plus. This experience should include exposure to at least one of the following: Asset Management, Investment Banking, Retail Banking and Private Banking.
  • Outstanding Project Management skills; experience in using structured project management methodologies to deliver large, complex engagements on time and on budget. PMI certification is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a professional services consulting environment that included responsibility for the preparation of written proposals, status reports, and project deliverables Experience: ? Manager level candidates must have a successful track record in developing new business in a professional services environment through original lead generation; contributions to the sales closing process; and/or the consistent ability to expand existing projects and client relationships
    ? Practical exposure to the application of information technology to address business issues, including: the process of evaluating, selecting, and implementing financial, operational, and/or customer-focused IT solutions
    ? Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
    ? Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
    ? Experience with process improvement documentation and analytical techniques and tools
    ? Sense of humor and balanced perspective
    ? MBA or comparable degree from a quality school
    ? Flexibility in schedule and the ability to travel if required
