Desktop/Network Support Analyst in New York, NY

Our client, an established Wall Street based financial services firm, has an immediate need for an experienced Desktop/Network Support Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: *A minimum of 3 years experience in analyzing and troubleshooting issues with Windows 2000, XP and the Microsoft Office Suite. *Experience with PC configuration, installation and maintenance of desktop applications. *Experience with Microsoft Server solutions including Windows 2000/2003 Server, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Active Directory TCP/IP experience is critical. *Ability to provide support to end users on a variety of issues. *Ability to research, identify, and resolve technical problems. *Respond in a timely manner to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. *Ability to document, track and monitor issues to ensure a timely resolution. *Must possess a strong service mentality. *College degree required with coursework in information systems or equivalent experience. *A+ Certified in PC Hardware and PC Operating systems a plus. *Networking + certification a plus. *Must be very familiar with a ticket based support systems (Track-IT) CANDIDATE MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK IMMEDIATELY.
