Change Round-Up is an entrepreneurial company based in historic Troy, NY (2.5hrs from NYC, 2hrs from Boston) and is poised for rapid growth. Our mission is to reduce the costs associated with fundraising and to help charities focus on fulfilling their missions instead of fundraising.
We are seeking a skilled, driven and reliable IT professional to manage and lead our day-to-day IT needs. Because of the start-up nature of this business, we are seeking a "Jack of all Trades" IT leader. This includes a fair amount of web-based and database programming, API development, network support and technology consulting to our clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
> Relevant, first-hand experience with the following:
- Web-based programming
- Database programming - SQL, MySQL
- Web Services API Development
- Experience with shopping carts and e-commerce platforms
- Languages: ASP, ASP.NET, ColdFusion MX, PHP
> Comfortable working with SSL
> Basic graphic design and Photoshop / Illustrator skills a plus
> While travel will likely be limited, candidates must be able to travel throughout the US if required
> Candidate should have a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
> Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to handle diverse situations and multiple projects.
> Requires effective communication and customer service skills with clients at all levels. This is critical. Our business depends on being able to make implementation on partner sites as easy for them as possible. Proper IT support with a high degree of professionalism is a necessity.
