This position is responsible to provide value to Business Unit owners by managing the day-to-day requests and specific projects for the assigned Business Unit. They are primarily accountable or responsible for a varying degree of operational areas
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between their assigned Business Unit's Content Administrator and/or other Business Unit staff and the outside IT support teams.
- Perform project planning and management activities as necessary.
- Be responsible for accurately gathering, describing and writing business rules and design new business processes that ultimate will improve and/or adopt the existing business process.
- Define and validate business requirements.
- Define and construct use cases, wire frame, storyboard, dataflow, workflow, sequence flow diagrams and other specifications documentation
- Identify, assess, and record business technology needs, recommending priorities, and advising business unit on options, risks, and costs versus benefits.
- Analyze business processes, products and operations to create detailed business requirements.
- Perform post-implementation review of the system with the users.
- Incorporate risk management strategies in project planning to mitigate potential issues.
- Define, develop, deploy and institutionalize industry best practice systems and processes to support Business Unit's initiatives and address the customer experience'.
Required Skills:
Work Experience
- Two plus years of relevant Project Management and leadership experience.
- Experience working with international teams and projects.
- Experience in all facets of the Project Management discipline including the creation of Project Plans, scope management, risk management, change control and budget management.
- Experience in developing proposals, written documents, and best practices for technical projects.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams of consultants, application developers and creative staff on technical projects.
- Experience in Internet technology and assisting or building eCommerce initiatives in a Global environment.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills using knowledge, experience and understanding of basic Internet concepts along with necessary software, databases and programming languages.
Specific Skills and Certifications
PMI Certification a plus. Must display an excellent understanding of business analysis, database systems, data warehousing, client-server and web technologies. Knowledge of MS Project or similar Project Management software tools. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Highly articulate and clear in both speaking and writing. Must be skilled in multitasking, working within a team environment, prioritizing and managing the completion of projects within deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills are also required.
