MCSE / Messaging on Windows / Exchange!!!! Senior Systems Engineer!!!
The ideal candidate will have worked extensively doing 2003 migrations. You will help with the design, implementation, and the daily maintenance of the network. You will also help oversee specific projects, so any Project Management experience is a huge plus. This is a senior level, hands-on opportunity in which the selected candidate will get to work with bleeding-edge technology.
Responsible for messaging solutions, server engineering, administration, system performance monitoring, capacity planning, maintenance tuning and root cause analysis of server technology. Optimize existing and designing future system messaging architecture, based on the Microsoft Exchange production line to enable business growth. Determine business requirements and design the messaging architecture to include site topology, front-end and back-end server configuration, Microsoft server clustering and remote access and mobility services. This role will also have additional Systems engineering responsibilities. This is a senior position, and will be the lead technical resource for these areas.
- Lead customers through their business requirements while translating them into specific system, application or process implementations.
- Engage in deep technical discussion with customers on the capabilities, requirements, configuration and usages of the wireless technology portfolio.
- Manage technically complex customer relationships.
- Connect with other members of the team to impart expertise across a broad range of customers and situations.
- Familiarity with all stages of the solution implementation lifecycle.
- Strong technical leadership capabilities coupled with real world project management experience.
- Very strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to lead ad hoc teams of very bright and highly motivated individuals.

Required Skills:
- Min 8 years experience as a Network Engineer specializing in MS Exchange.
- Min 4 years Information Technology operations experience, including leadership, mentoring and training.
- Demonstrated hands on experience working on client projects, messaging design and re-architecture, assisting in the migration and deployment of messaging related servers and on-going support.
- Experience supporting enterprise class messaging systems of 1000+ users.
- Demonstrated hands on experience with large deployments of Exchange messaging systems and directories, including Active Directory.
- Extensive hands on experience working within a large enterprise environment installing, monitoring, and troubleshooting servers and applications for a Multi-tiered environment.
- The ability to occasionally travel to customer locations in the NY metro area.
- Participation in 24 hour On-Call rotation to include nights & weekends for one week per month.
