Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Windows is a lead technical resource on projects who delivers a detailed infrastructure architecture solution based on broader application architecture requirements. He/She ensures the solution is reliable, repeatable, scalable, easy to maintain, robust, compliant and helps drive new levels of standards. He/She will design the detailed implementation architecture, identify gaps, and select the appropriate tools and products to facilitate the implementation and integration of the architecture. He/She should be well versed with Infrastructure implementation Life Cycle and have crystal clear understanding of the current infrastructure technologies. The incumbent will report to the PMO group.Technical Skills: Administration of Windows NT/2000/2003 (server) In depth knowledge of Microsoft Backoffice server products including MSCS, Terminal Services, and MS SQL. DNS/DHCP & WINS Five years+ Windows NT/2000/2003 Good hardware knowledge Solid understanding of TCP/IP Networking Solid understanding of IT principles and concepts Solid understanding of switches, routers, and firewalls Solid understanding of SAN / NAS. Knowledge of C/C++ programming and general application development principlesSoft Skills: Strong presentation, inter-personal and communication skills both written and oral. Ability to deliver to tight timescales. Team player, enthusiastic and committed. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively. Practical yet innovative Enterprise or Wall st.
