Jr. Report Engineer in Woodbury, NY

The Jr. Report Engineer position participates in the design and development reports and feeds from a MS SQL Server 2000 database infrastructure, utilizing Crystal Reports. The individual works with product managers, DBAs and other Software Engineering staff to ensure all solutions are constructed and performed to established standards. Experience: - No out of state candidates accepted JOB REQUIREMENTS: . 2+ years experience developing reports that access data from SQL Server 2000 - views, procedures, query optimization, performance tuning . 2+ years of Crystal Reports (8.0 or higher) design and deployment . 1+ year of Visual Basic 6.0 experience . Some VB.NET or C# experience . Experience in unit and integration quality assurance processes . Ability to analyze SQL and refine for performance . Ability to develop and test modifications to existing reports and feeds . Ability to learn new technology and systems quickly Pluses: . 1+ year of hands on C# experience . Citrix experience .
