This is an 18-month position in Albany, NY for a Client Server/Programmer. This position is required to design/model, construct and load the data tables through the enterprise data warehouse architecture in support of Data Warehousing projects. Mandatory Requirements include: an Associate's Degree; 2 or more years experience developing applications in a Windows NT environment. Preferred experience includes: 3 or more years demonstrated experience working in a data warehouse setting utilizing an enterprise data warehouse with dependent datamarts in an Oracle environment, performing development work in PL/SQL; using advanced Extract/Transform/Load techniques including bulk select, bulk insert, arrays and dynamic SQL; plus demonstrated experience developing and testing maps in Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) data versioning techniques and developing detailed incremental ETS Processes; 1 or more years performing database administration support activities; 3 or more years working directly with users in the child welfare related data arena to develop requirements, identify and analyze business problems and develop workable solutions using applications.
