Summary: This position is accountable for providing in-house application, development and user support for reporting from all Information Technology supported applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for documenting business requirements for requested reports. 2. Responsible for the design, programming and unit testing of requested reports. 3. Assist with rollouts including specific duties related to implementation, training and monitoring performance. 4. Maintain and support a set of standard management and operational reports. 5. Provide technical guidance for reporting. 6. Develop and establish strong and effective working relationships with each of the business units understanding their reporting needs. 7. Review all requested alterations to Information Technology Systems to see how they would impact any reports written.

Solid understanding of Data Warehouse principles, models, schemas and methodology. ? Strong SQL programming with Transact SQL, stored procedures, views and functions. ? Solid experience and understanding of reporting structures and layouts using ?MS SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services Report Development Tools?, ?Crystal?, ?Cognos?, or other enterprise reporting package. Note: MS SQL 2005 Reporting Services and ProClarity are the most relevant given our strategic direction. ? Access, Excel Pivot Tables ? Significant Insurance industry experience and knowledge with a strong understanding of insurance/reinsurance terminology, business functions and processes. ? Experience with IBM-AS400/DB2 environments a plus. ? Experience with Xchanging?s Genius Insurance and Reinsurance system a plus. ? Experience with Lawson Accounting systems a plus ? Very strong problem solving and analytical skills and is a systemic thinker. ? Very strong verbal, written, presentation and negotiation communication skills. ? Team Player with strong interpersonal relationship, team building, collaboration and facilitation skills. ?
