This position will provide technical leadership and consultation for the development of Data Warehousing and Decision Support infrastructures and tools associated with the Mortgage Decision Support project (e.g., The creation, enhancement, and distribution of dashboards, by providing a well-defined, controlled data management environment in a data repository and reporting systems).
-Technically lead project related efforts to ensure objectives are met on time and within budget. Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, working with end-users to gather business requirements, preparing and presenting specifications, designing, developing, testing, and implementing relational, dimensional, and/or other analytical data structures and ETL processes.
-Interact with other application and data management areas to progress his/her objectives and will also assist in the planning and evaluation processes associated with the project’s timelines and resources. Experience: -Bachelor degree, or equivalent, with a major in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Finance.
-Demonstrate the ability to technically lead complex application and/or database development initiatives, including the analysis and design of solutions with a specific emphasis on decision support systems and the data warehousing functionality used within the financial industry.
-Five or more years of proven and progressive application programming or database development experience as well as three or more years of project management experience.
-Possess specialized experience in programming or database languages and techniques for application systems design; be recognized as a technical resource within the work group.
-Strong abilities in communication, analytical, and leadership skills; possess a knowledge of financial services; and demonstrate an ability to apply multiple technologies to business situations and delivery solutions that blend the technical environment with strategic direction.
