*Candidates must respond with the Tekmark job number, 56323 in the subject line* The Business Development Manager is responsible for the planning, documentation, coordination and monitoring of all business processes. The Business Development Manager is tasked to obtain initial and continuing commitment from executives to direct scarce financial, vendor, technology and/or human resources to DTS. The Business Development Manager reports to the DTS Business Programs and Operations Manager. Major functions include: Business Case development including cost/benefit analysis, TCO and ROI models Coordinate the creation, submission, approval, and realization of funding requests and Monitor and Track their subsequent usage. Assist dbatestco managers in the selling of select initiatives to obtain critical project resources Ensure ongoing IT/BU management commitment by helping dbatestco managers provide transparency into the progress of select initiatives from inception through steady state Develop and leverage new and existing vendor relationships including offshore resource business relations Support budgeting and forecasting activities Provide Project Office support for specific projects Create Business Value Metrics to help define success of the dbatestco enterprise in business terms Source, vet and nurture new or evolutionary ideas for dbatestco products and services. Skills Required At least 10 years of work experience, 6+ of which have been in project management and/or business planning/finance 4 year degree preferably in Business, Engineering, or an Information System related area. Any Data Integration, Testing, Database or Web Development background helpful Relationship management experience helpful Financial Services industry experience preferred MBA helpful MS Office business application experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project and Access applications Outgoing and a self starter Excellent written, presentation and leadership skills At Tekmark, we know that there are no limits to where imagination and technology can go.
