The Following will be the responsibilities of the Business Analyst who will support the system: -
* Understand and support the operations
* Document and publish Operations Support Manual detailing the Operations Process
* Document and Support Trouble Shooting Effort
* Document and Facilitate in Data Conversion and Transition activities to the New System
* Support Staff on Trouble Shooting and Problem Solving with the Bulk Load, Batching and/or other Challenges
* Document, Streamline and Automate (where applicable) Support Activities
* Research, Coordinate and Document exploring options of interim solutions to transition application to a platform and environment that can be supported
Experience: Required Experience
. Bachelor's Degree
. Three or more years examining the methods and processes of the business flow within a diverse public or private service delivery organization.
. Three or more years assessing and documenting existing business processes and identifying unnecessary steps.
. Three or more years incorporating value-added steps into a new process through the translation of business practices into terminology and desk products that seamlessly merge computer and microcomputer technology with work processes.
. Three or more years assessing and documenting existing business process and identifying where improvements can be made or where new processes can be installed.
. Three or more years researching "best practices" of comparable organizations and analyzing the feasibility of installing them where needed.
. Three or more years developing new methods and procedures, implementation plans and schedules, and written reports.
Desirable Experience Preferred for These Positions
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
. Experience with client financial systems or comparable government financial system.
. Ability to program Unix/FoxPro or similar 3GL language.
. Three or more years experience in problem solving, analytical and research activities including identifying areas of improvement.
. Demonstrated experience in research/implementing "best practices.
