Job Responsibilities

/p> This is a technical position. The promotions associate technical producer is responsible for producing, managing, creating and maintaining the technical elements of ESPN.com promotions.



This position serves as a bridge between engineering, design, content development, marketing, advertising, sales and editorial groups.



Typically a technical producer will be responsible for a number of promotion games and will produce all applications, templates and features for those games year-round.



The producer will also be responsible for the continual generation and implementation of new ideas for their games. Additionally the producer will be responsible for many smaller projects and tasks throughout the year. T



Typical duties include: template maintenance and creation, automation troubleshooting, coverage planning, investigation and implementation of new technologies.



The associate producer will also work with many groups within ESPN.com and ESPN to develop new ideas for Internet sports coverage and contest feature enhancements.

Desired Qualifications

Do tea programming for every non-fantasy game promotion on ESPN.com, EXPN.com, ESPNRadio.com Update and maintain ESPN.com contest section. Create sponsored polls and special sections. Update sponsored special sections whenever new content is available, like HP-F1 and ESPN HD. Review promotion creative briefs to make sure they are technically possible. Test all non-fantasy game promotions on a regular basis. Create promotions and other newsletter HTML and arrange their distribution. Make sure all necessary statistics are tracked for all special sections, promotions, sponsored polls and promotions newsletters. Project Management, Project Planning, HTML, Javascript, CSS, Knowledge of databases, SQL, SQL-Server, server-side web programming, specifically Tea, knowledge of GoKart and Global Reg system, Content Editor, Photoshop, Hitbox, DIG Ad-tracking Online Media Kit Updating HTML for online media kit Set up tracking of necessary statistics for online media kit Same as above
