I am conducting a search on behalf of my client a major insurance company located in NYC for a Senior Messaging Solutions Engineer. This is a fulltime opportunity with a salary range of $90,000-110,000 plus bonus and benefits.
Here is the job description;
Act as a senior engineer for all messaging solutions components, including Lotus Notes / Domino, Sametime, spam / virus filtering, mail archiving, secure email, and Blackberry.
Provide support to all clients for messaging solutions products
Support client in the effective use of Lotus Notes technologies in the environment
Ensure maximum system availability and efficiency
Install upgrades of new releases of software for all messaging solutions products
Troubleshoot and solve technical problems

Experience: Requirements
Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS or related field, or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience in Lotus Notes administration
IBM/Lotus CLP certification preferred
Minimum of 7 years experience with Lotus Notes / Domino, client and server.
Extensive experience administering Lotus Notes applications / servers in a business environment
Experience with AIX and Windows 2000 operating systems, local area networks, and distributed computing environments.
Sametime and Blackberry experience preferred.

Strong analytical and communications skills essential
Self-starter with the ability to work in diverse circumstances
Ability to develop estimates, manage projects, and return high-quality results within schedule and budget constraints
