Audio/Video Systems Engineer in New York, NY

Job Responsibilities :

Design all phases of engineering projects for on-air broadcast facilities. Interact with vendors, operations groups and all necessary other departments. Individual is responsible for design and implementation of audio, video, data, and communications elements for new and existing facilities. Requires knowledge of how to implement and test analog and digital systems and an understanding of broadcast standards for audio, video , control systems, and IP networks. Experience with supervising installation crews, both union and non-union, a plus. Must be a team player



Required Qualifications :

Work Experience: Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in the Broadcast field.

Technical Skills: A/V System design. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Experience with digital audio and video standards. Familiarity with Computer and Networking technologies.

Non-technical Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under deadlines and to complete projects in a multi-tasking environment

Education: Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Telecommunications
