In this role, you will be responsible for the database administration and technical leadership of the company's SQL Server 2000/2005 systems. To be successful in this mission-critical position, you MUST possess: *A minimum of 5 yrs SQL Server database administration and programming experience in a SQL Server 2000/2005 environment. Demonstration of SQL Server 2005 experience is mandatory. *Advanced working knowledge of T-SQL stored procedures and various programming constructs such as LOOPS, CURSORS, IF-THEN-ELSE logic. *Experience with Data Transformation Services. *Senior level experience in SQL Query tuning using Execution Plans and SQL Profiler. *Strong experience in SQL Server Backup and Restore techniques and procedures. *The ability to effectively create and execute SQL DDL, DCL and DML statements. *Solid working experience in a Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 Operating System environment. *Experience in either Database Mirroring and Replication, Hardware/Software Clustering or SAN technologies. *Prior development experience in VB, Visual Studio.Net, C#, COM, C, etc would be desirable. *Excellent written and verbal communication experience.
