Job Description:
Main responsibilities:
1) Act as the web infrastructure/security lead and liaison with third party external service providers for existing and future web hosting and application support initiatives:
- Manage external service providers ongoing compliance with our policies, procedures and standards
- Coordinating infrastructure enhancements, software patches and problem resolution
- Serve as the Vignette focal point for both Internet and Intranet
- Serve as Tier 2 security / infrastructure support lead within the IS department
- Serve as project manager/business analyst
- Negotiate annual support and hosting agreements
- Assist with software license management and managing ongoing costs
2) Leadership and/or participation in all System Development Life Cycle phases for Infrastructure related initiatives:
- Act as the project management liaison for our Corporate Infrastructure (server, desktop, messaging & network) projects
- Translate customer requirements into business solutions
- Work across our lines of business and external service providers
3) Participate in IS team process improvement working groups (ACE: Internal quality program)
Requirements
Master degree
- 5+ years acting in a role of information technology (IT) project manager, managing suppliers of IT services and web infrastructure lead
- Strong troubleshooting skills and customer service orientation a must
- Expertise with Identify Management software (Siteminder)
- Knowledge and experience with Vignette management software
- Understanding of servers, networks (voice & data), AS400 and desktops desired
- Ability to work across departments and external vendors
- Project Management experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
