Job Description:
Experienced Remedy Developer/ analyst to work as part of a team to support custom Remedy ARS applications in a busy environment (approx. 1500 users).
Basic Function:
Development, support and maintenance of CSS, ITSM and custom Remedy ARS applications in a Sun/Oracle environment. This includes but is not limited to:
- Troubleshooting and follow-up of reported bugs
- Gathering & documenting business requirements.
- Building & design of application enhancements including and not limited to forms, menus, fields and workflow to meet business requirements.
- Responsible for QA & UAT prior to production implementation.
- Report creation, generation and maintenance.
- Maintain documentation required for ongoing Remedy ARS support.
- Manage access control and AR System licenses.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years experience developing Remedy applications (ARS v6.3 and up, CSS 5.1, ITSM v. 5.0 and Mid Tier).
- Skilled in using SQL, Excel, Crystal reports.
- Familiarity with UNIX processes and commands.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework
- Excellent customer service and customer support background.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to respond to frequent pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to work with minimal supervision.
- CMDB experience is a plus.
