Job Summary:



As an Associate IT Engineer, the incumbent will be responsible for the on-going support of Enterprise Computer Systems (ECS) deployed at Pearl River business units. The responsibilities of this position include providing level 1 support to customers, as well as providing technical expertise and assistance to IS Applications management and project teams.



Job Responsibilities:



* Provide processing that delivers the right information the first time, meets objectives on-time, and eliminates down time. Ensure that all users are provided high quality services and products that are consistent with GMP and corporate standards.



* Seek out opportunities to provide quality products and services that directly increase revenue, profitability, and productivity for our customers and partners and leverage enterprise systems and strategies.



* Develop a world-class IS organization committed to ensuring the success of the business through individual leadership, a focus on excellence, and team collaboration through demonstration of company values.



* Add value by integrating and applying information technology to drive fundamental and significant improvements to business practices and processes



* Ensure that the Business receives value from vendor's and contractors.



Basic Qualifications:



* BS/BA (Computer, Mathematics, Natural Sciences or Engineering) with at least 3 years of relevant experience.



* Project Management.



* Understanding of enterprise applications.



* Problem Management - Troubleshooting techniques.



* Hands on experience with laboratory equipment and applications.



* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



* Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute on multiple, changing priorities. Ability to work within a matrix / team environment.
