Access Developer in LONG ISLAND CITY, NY

This person will track and organize documentation regarding reported issues and projects that are required for the updating or correction of software assigned to Core Ops for support. This will require the individual to work with employees in other departments to monitor tasks, service desk function issues, and project deliverables. This person must communicate with all project/service desk staff to keep department managers/directors and team members up to date to allow for completion off assignments in a timely and complete fashion. <p>

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:<p>

1. Record and monitor events for departmental issues and projects<br>
By assuring events are recorded in databases, schedules, and project plans as necessary<br>
By communicating priorities to staff and project teams<br>
By interacting with staff and project team members to record deliverables and statuses <br>
By actively monitoring issue reporting systems to be sure issues are recorded appropriately<br>
By maintaining official versions of project plans, scope documents, validation plans, etc. as required.<p>

2. Maintain and monitor that deliverables and documentation is complete, stored, and retrievable<br>
By maintaining the systems that allow for documentation and retrieval of deliverables<br>
By reporting incomplete event resolutions to staff and supervisory staff<br>
By maintaining a close liaison with managers of projects dealing with new development, upgrades, or current production systems. <br>
By assuring all deliverables are completed and presented for project closure<p>


3. Record and maintain meeting documents (handouts, minutes, etc.) as required<br>
By recording minutes of meetings or storing minutes for OAS/BSG as required <br>
By working with meeting leaders to assure action items are listed and followed up<br>

Experience: 2+ years providing clerical support in a large organization<br>
2+ years using MS Access<br>
2+ years experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Snagit<br>
2+ years experience with service desk functionality and change management<p>
