POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Misys Optimum Trainer/Support Specialist
Basic Function
Provide Misys Optimum support and training to national network of medical practices and provide assistance in management of accounts receivable (A/R).
Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of Misys Optimum system management, including:
Implement and install the system, features and modules
Coordinate and execute system upgrades including testing new releases
Maintain issues log and work with vendor (Misys) to resolve
Develop, maintain and deliver training program for end users and super users
Provide help desk support for end users
Coordinate external support and training for end users as needed
Maintain user accounts and printers
Provide system standard reports as needed
Coordinate accounts receivable management, including:
Produce monthly A/R reports
Follow up on practice billing processes
Provide assistance to improve A/R management
Position Qualifications
High School Diploma with additional secondary education.
Minimum 5 years progressive experience as a financial system user
Experience with medical billing system, Misys Optimum experience preferred
Experience providing Help Desk Support for applications
Training Experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work as part of a multi disciplinary team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to travel
