Our client is a small, well established web based Software firm and they are looking for a Web Programmer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge set:
· Proficiency with the following: C#, .NET 1.1 or higher, and the ASP.NET framework C#.NET
· Clear understanding and mastery of Web development using Visual Studio 2005 and ASP.NET 2.0 (C#) with Microsoft SQL 2005
· Very strong JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, and CSS skills particularly for creating valid, W3C standards compliant, cross-browser, and cross-platform mark-up
· Experience using AJAX and Web 2.0 technologies to build dynamic and interactive Web pages
Desired Qualifications:
· Knowledge of Application of Object-Oriented techniques and patterns such as decorator, factory, MVP/MVC, etc.
· Familiarity with Source Control software: SVN/TortoiseSVN
· Have proven success working with deadlines and business demands
· Able to succeed when working alone, doing one's own troubleshooting and problem-solving as well as in a collaborative team environment
Applicant must also be:
· Able to solve complex development problems and engineer thoughtful solutions
· Willing to participate in group design discussions and/or be willing to pair with another developer on features/code
· Willing to participate in project estimation and planning
· Willing to provide initial work estimates and continuous updates
· Willing to stay up-to-date on software technology, engineering techniques, share knowledge, and apply it to build better software solutions
· Willing to understand business requirements and be unafraid to ask clarifying questions of the business units or product owners to better understand the requirements and how best to implement them
