This nationwide Corporation located in Lake Success Nassau County is looking for a Senior .Net developer to take a lead role over three developers. What makes this project outstanding is the fact that the right candidate will report directly to the CIO and share his vision. The skills required are but not limited to:
• Architect a Security Framework for Internal Applications and Extend the Framework to applications supported by external vendors using VB.NET and Web services.
•Work with other Agencies to develop a standard interface to exchange data between the Agencies using XML as the Data Interchange format.
•Implement Best design and Practices for the Application Development Process
•Be responsible for Developing/Evaluating a Reporting Solution to Help the Organization Develop and Manage reports for Various Departments as well as to give the End user the flexibility to Develop Ad Hoc Reports.
•Be responsible for Developing a Solution to effectively manage Desktops to run legacy applications using VM Ware Products.
•Be responsible for Developing a Workflow to Implement Rational Clear Quest.
•Be responsible for Implementing Clear Quest and educating the Project and Application Development group about the Clear Quest Process.
•Design, Develop and Implement an Inventory Tracking System for Inventory Parts.
•Be involved in discussion for Developing Shared services.
•Possess the ability to effectively interface with other units in the organization to achieve Project Deadlines.
•Work with End users and upper management to effectively reduce support times.
•Develop a Detail Training Program for Internal Staff to upgrade skills.
•Have the ability to effectively use available resources to achieve departmental goals.
