Robert Half Technology is currently seeking an experience Technical Support Engineer for one of our Long Island based clients. The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for a variety of proprietory products over the telephone. The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills and will have demonstrated ability to creatively diagnose and solve complex problems involving software, end users and hardware. This person will identify and document product issues, enhancements, and requests in the appropriate tracking system. To qualify for this position the Technical Support Engineer must have the following skills:
•Knowledge/experience working with Windows XP, 2000 and NT operating systems and computer hardware
•Familiarity with Windows Vista
•Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office and knowledge of Photoshop is a plus
•Willing to travel to other locations within the U.S.
•Video experience a plus
