A well known electronic trading solutions company is looking for a QA Performace Analyst to fill a full time position.
QA Performance Analyst is responsible for monitoring performance of the software application and providing an informed, objective and independent statistical analysis for each release. He/she will engage in testing of new software releases and assist in the diagnosis of problems encountered in production environments. Individual must be able to conduct end to end testing of mesages per second.
- Design and development of performance testing plans and workflow scenarios.
- Setting up performance testing strategies based on possible bottlenecks at all application levels.
- Development of testing scripts and utilities.
- Execution of developed scripts and organizing results into easy-to-read reports.
- Development of performance matrices and graphs.
- Setting up and maintenance of QA environments used for performance testing.
Experience: - Excellent UNIX scripting skills (Perl, k-shell)
- Strong understanding of QA processes and methodology
- Knowledge of Performance/Load/ Stress Testing
- Experience with Messaging Platform Testing (preferably trading: FIX)
- Proficiency with SQL queries
- Knowledge of Perl is a plus
