Interactive Creative Director in NEW YORK, NY

Main Duties And Responsibilities:

ü Translating branding and business requirements into an engaging visual design, compelling copy and rich consumer experience.

ü Develop & train a web team in creative best practice

ü Developing design standards for WBR

ü Creating CSS templates for event websites (just in the very beginning – and not too much)

ü Lead internal and external staff to develop, design and produce marketing campaigns for multiple brands; design innovative Web sites; and design direct response online advertising.

ü Redesigning and Rebranding online communities

ü Inspiring outstanding creative quality across multiple offices.

ü Ensuring creative integrity, and providing mentorship and feedback.

ü Write create briefs, produce wire-frames, functional specs, present concepts, review development processes and make improvements to internal workflow



Competencies & Qualifications:



5+ years graphic design and web design experience (minimum required)
Previous Web Design and Development experience is highly desired (PHP, XML, HTML, Java, ASP.net, Macromedia Studio (DreamWeaver, Flash, etc), Photoshop Creative Suite, etc
Excellent portfolio, work history and references
Microsoft Office skills
Project Management skills
Analytical skills
People and process management experience
Demonstrated organizational skills
Demonstrated strong verbal and written skills
Experience designing, implementing and enforcing success metrics relative to objectives
Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality solutions on time
Knowledge of web technology standards are required
Knowledge of Usability Standards
Ability to multi-task
