My client is seeking to add to its Electromagnetic Sciences Directorate and they are currently seeking a Programmer Analyst/ Software Engineer that is trained in modern software practices. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting current applications and new work which will begin shortly. <br><p>
Responsibilities:<br><p>
• You will be involved in all aspects of the software design cycle, including designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining complex scientific application software.<br><p>
• Present your work at internal and external review meetings<br><p>
• Help develop computer based training tools<br><p>
Experience: Qualifications:<br><p>
• Current Security Clearance or ability to get one is REQUIRED<br><p>
• Must be eligible for U.S. government security clearance; current SSBI highly desirable<br><p>
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required; Master’s Degree is a plus<br><p>
• 5 years experience with Fortran 90/95, Java, C++, QT, Perl, Python, Unix operating system and Unix scripting<br><p>
• Scientific/ engineering/ strong mathematical background<br><p>
• Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written skills<br><p>
• Experience with GUI development, high-performance computing, test-driven development.<br><p>
