Our client, a leading educational software assessment company located in Brooklyn (DUMBO, one stop on subway from Manhattan) is looking for a Sr. Database Developer .
The Sr. Database Developer you will be responsible for:
- Autonomously implement software modules with large components inside Database Systerm (Oracle and SQL Server)
- Create and document software architectures for small to medium-sized projects
- Review architectures created by Sr. Developer peers
- Estimate project costs and development effort
- Lead teams of several developers throughout projects lifecycle, from design to post-delivery maintenance and operations
- Mentor developers for DB development practices, platforms (SQL Server, Oracle) as well as Object-Oriented and scripting methodologies and languages (Javascript as well as Python and .NET)
- Must have Masters in Computer Engineering or related degree
- Must have 2 years experience as Sr Dev or 4 years experiences as a developer and experience with Python, Javascript and Oracle
