The group supports portfolio managers and analysts by providing timely and accurate portfolio and analytic information for making investment decisions. This dynamic group works closely with the Fixed Income and Equity business units using a variety of modern technical tools including Cognos, Actuate, Sybase, Java and C#. Experience: • Expertise in Data Warehousing (4 to 5 years) on a MS SQL Server/Oracle/Sybase platform.<br>
• Very strong knowledge in Sybase and/or SQL Server and/or Oracle. (3 to 4 years),<br>
• Financial industry experience is a must.<br>
• Strong team player<br>
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented.<br>
• Strong written and verbal communication skills<p>
Desirable:<br>
• Cognos 8 BI experience (2 to 3 years) is a plus.<br>
• ETL experience using Informatica.<br>
• Strong knowledge of financial products is a plus.<p>
